Odostomia alia : ウィキペディア英語版 | Odostomia alia
''Odostomia alia'' is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Pyramidellidae, the pyrams and their allies.〔Bouchet, P. (2015). Odostomia alia Peñas & Rolán, 1999. Accessed through: World Register of Marine Species at http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=458097 on 2015-04-12〕 ==Description== The white, shiny, slightly ovoid shell grows to a length of 1.6 mm. The teleoconch contains four smooth, turreted whorls. The body whorl measures ⅔ of the total length of the shell. The growthlines are leaning forward (adapically) with respect to the direction of the cone. Just like Eulimella polita, the aperture has a continuous peristome, but, in contrast, has no columellar fold. The outer lip lacks teeth.〔(J.J. van Aartsen, E. Gittenberger & J. Goud, Pyramidellidae (Mollusca, Gastropoda, Heterobranchia) collected during the Dutch CANCAP and MAURITANIA expeditions in the south-eastern part of the North Atlantic Ocean (part 2) )〕
